A visit to the Niseko area should not be only for skiing - the area has so much to offer! Whether exploring by car, on snow shoes, by snow mobile or snow cat you will get a totally different experience from Niseko's winter wonderland.
The Niseko United resort consists of three separate resorts - Grand Hirafu, Higashiyama and Annupuri, which all link together near the summit of Mt. Annupuri making it easy to traverse between all three. Please note that if you don't have an All Mountain Pass you will need separate tickets for each area.
Hirafu, located at the base of Mt. Annupuri, has quickly developed from a sleepy village into a uniquely Japanese-International resort with a diverse range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Of the three resorts, Hirafu is the largest and offers one of the world's most extensive night skiing areas where powder can be enjoyed until 9:00pm.
The three separate resorts combine to produce a huge area of groomed slopes, accessible back-country terrain both above and through the trees, half pipes, quarter pipes, table tops, rails and mogul fields.
For those who have All-Mountain Passes a free shuttle runs between each area meaning it is possible to end your day and return to Hirafu from Annupuri and Higashiyama.
