Shared and private transfers

There are two types of bus transport available- private mini-bus transfer for small groups or shared coach transfer:
Private Transfer (door to door)
This is by far the quickest and easiest way to Niseko. Your own driver will meet you at the airport, drive you the 2.5 - 3 hours to Hirafu and drop you at the door of your accommodation. There you will be met and checked in by a member of The Niseko Company who will explain your stay schedule, the resort and the property.
Rates vary depending on group number and vehicle used. Guests are met at the airport arrival gate and dropped at the door of your accommodation.
There are numerous operators you can choose from.
Fuji Hire | Skybus | Prai | Cool Star
Limousine Service
If you are looking for a luxury way of traveling to Niseko, you can also choose Cool Star’s limousine service.
This 6-7 seater vehicle can be likened to a private jet, with luxurious white leather reclining armchairs, full cabin attendance and complimentary refreshments. The passenger area is fully equipped with a toilet, refrigerator, television, CD and DVD offering guests the upmost in luxury transportation.
Shared Transfer
There are 4 main companies from the airport to Niseko:
(1) Chuo Bus
(2) Donan
(3) Skybus
(4) Whiteliner.
Skybus offers a door to door service from the airport to Niseko or Sapporo.
Cho Bus and Donan Bus have regular services to Hirafu from 8:45 am and 4:30 pm daily. They tend to alternate with one another, leaving every 45 minutes apart.
The fare is ¥2,300 one way and ¥4,600 return.
All buses, except Donan, can be pre-booked. However, Chuo has no English language booking service or staff. Both Whiteliner and Skybus have English language online booking services and staff. All the buses except Skybus drop you off at the Hirafu (Niseko) Welcome Center.
A bus ticket to Hirafu can be purchased from the Bus Counter at the airport which is located opposite JAL domestic arrival gate 4 on the ground floor.
The trip takes 2.5 to 3 hours depending on weather and traffic. The bus usually stops at the main Hirafu bus stop before continuing on to Higashiyama and Annupuri Resorts. Occasionally it will visit Annupuri and Higashiyama first.
