Please carefully read our Booking Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions please contact The Niseko Company before making a booking.

The Niseko Company and the owners of any property managed by The Niseko Company rent the property under the following conditions:

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

HOW TO BOOK

  1. Reservation requests can be made by email (reservations@thenisekocompany.com) or by fax at +81 136-21-7274.
  2. Our reservations team will send you a personalized quotation based on your needs with a detailed costing of the holiday.

TO SECURE THE BOOKING

  1. Once you are ready to confirm your booking and have read and agreed to our booking Terms and Conditions, please sign the personalized quotation and return it to The Niseko Company with the required 20% deposit (Please see the payment details in the next section).
  2. If the signed personalized quotation is being sent to The Niseko Company without proof of transfer of funds, your credit card details must be noted on the form to allow The Niseko Company to continue to hold the reservation for you. We will send you the quote back with the total amount to be charged in Canadian Dollars, which we require you to sign and return the same day.
  • For your convenience paperwork can be returned by fax on +81 136-21-7274.
  • Final Payment is required no later than 60 days prior to arrival.

CONFIRMATION
Availability is subject to change at anytime; a preliminary reservation is strongly suggested. Upon receipt of the signed quotation and correct payment, we will issue a confirmation invoice. It is only at this stage that your booking is confirmed. Please check the confirmation invoice carefully and take note of the final payment due date.

PAYMENT DETAILS

  1. The Niseko Company requires a 20% deposit in order to confirm the guest’s reservation. A preliminary reservation can be held by request only for a maximum of 7 business days from the time the guest receives their personalized quotation. After 7 business days your preliminary reservation will lapse and the reservation may be offered to other parties. The deposit needs to be received within that time period in order to confirm the reservation. Please be aware that availability can change at any time. Any quotations not received within 7 business days following issuance of the original personalized quotation will be cancelled.
  2. Payments can be made either by bank transfer or by Visa, Master Card, or American Express. All Credit Card payments will be processed in CANADIAN DOLLARS at the exchange rate given by the bank on the day of processing. A quote with the total amount in Canadian Dollars will be sent to you before processing the payment; once the quote has been signed and returned the same day no later than 4 p.m. (Japan Time) by fax or email, we will process the payment.
  3. Bank transfer payments should be made to the banking account listed on the quotation provided. All bank charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that payments can not be split. The person taking responsibility for the booking must make all payments.

FINAL PAYMENT DATE

  1. Full payment is due no later than 60 days prior to arrival.
  2. Reservations made within 60 days must be paid in full within 7 business days of acceptance of The Niseko Company personalized quotation.
  3. If the guest has made their initial deposit by credit card, prior to the final due date we will send the guest a quotation for the total remaining amount in Canadian Dollars. This will need to be returned the same day no later than 4 p.m. (Japan Time) by fax or email in order for The Niseko Company to process the payment.

CANCELLATION BY THE GUEST

  1. Any cancellation will come into effect the day written notice is received by The Niseko Company and will be refunded as shown in the table below:

  2. Depending on the reason for your cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these charges under the terms of your insurance policy.

CANCELLATION BY THE NISEKO COMPANY

  1. In all cases, The Niseko Company reserves the right to cancel the guest’s booking for the dates the guest has reserved. This is extremely unlikely, but should this event occur, the guest will be fully refunded.
  2. If the guest fails to pay the balance of the booking price or other costs before the due dates, we reserve the right to cancel the guest’s reservation with no refund.

AMENDMENTS BY THE GUEST

  1. Amendments must be confirmed in writing and signed by you or any authorized member of your group. They will come into effect the day they are received by The Niseko Company.
  2. Amendments to any services exclusive of accommodation are subject to the service provider’s Terms and Conditions.
  3. All other amendments will be subject to availability and in the case that the number of nights is reduced or the number of guests is increased to exceed the property capacity causing a necessary change of property the above cancellation policy will apply.
  4. A request to change property will be considered a cancellation and re-booking, and subject to the above cancellation policy.

THE NISEKO COMPANY SERVICE CHARGE
Guests will be charged a non refundable 10,000 yen service charge at the time of confirmation of booking. For a list of services that are included in this charge please contact The Niseko Company.

EXTRA PERSON POLICY

  1. All The Niseko Company properties have a set property capacity. In the case where booking numbers exceed the property capacity within reason, each extra guest will incur a relative charge.
  2. The extra guest charge varies according to property. Please contact The Niseko Company for full details.
  3. Children under 5 years incur no charge.

1. MAKING A BOOKING
The Niseko Company bookings are accepted subject to the services or accommodation applied for being available. The Niseko Company and/or its agents reserve the right, without notice, to modify, cancel or withdraw any of the arrangements and in this event the full amount paid will be returned to the customer, and upon rendering the same, all liability of The Niseko Company and/or its agents in respect thereof shall cease. The Niseko Company and/or its agents reserve the right to decline or accept any person as a member of any party at any time.

2. PROPERTY DAMAGE
The lessee of any of The Niseko Company’s properties accepts responsibility and will incur all costs for replacement or repair of any damage incurred to any facet of The Niseko Company’s properties by the lessee or anybody in the lessee’s party or duty of care outside of normal wear and tear. The Niseko Company will inspect the property before the guests check out. In the event where the property has been damaged the lessee will pay TNC in full for any damage caused.

3. NO SMOKING POLICY
The Niseko Company’s properties maintain a strict “NO SMOKING POLICY” within their buildings. The Niseko Company reserves the right to evict from the building any person or party not adhering to this policy without a refund for any days remaining.

4. RESPONSIBILITY
The Niseko Company and/or property owners shall not under any circumstances be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be caused to person or property, however caused, this also applies to any tour under its management, sponsorship, procurement or otherwise, not withstanding that The Niseko Company's principal may be a foreign company, corporation or person.

It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that they are in possession of the required travel documents and that they are in compliance with current Government and transportation companies' regulations.

The right is also reserved to cancel or withdraw any tour, or any booking made for a guest, or to decline to accept any person as a member of a tour for any reason whatsoever. No refunds can be made in respect of accommodation and lift passes not used and under no circumstances can refunds be made for tours and sightseeing excursions not undertaken. The issuance and acceptance of receipts, tickets, vouchers, coupons or exchange orders shall be deemed as consent to the above conditions.

The Niseko Company will book external services on the guest’s behalf, however, these services will be subject to the external service providers’ booking Terms and Conditions and remain the responsibility of the client. A list of booking Terms and Conditions for each service provider will be supplied upon request to clients by The Niseko Company.

5. PETS
All of The Niseko Company properties have a strict “NO PETS” policy. Under no circumstances will pets be permitted to stay in any of the properties managed by The Niseko Company.

6. TRANSPORTATION
The Niseko Company accepts no responsibility for customer’s transportation to and from Niseko-Hirafu and any of The Niseko Company’s properties other than that stipulated at the time of booking. No refunds of accommodation or any other related services will be given if the customers are unable to arrive on the day of predetermined booking including travel being impaired by weather conditions and like wise. The Niseko Company and/or its agents will not be responsible for providing additional accommodation in the event that customers are prevented from leaving Niseko-Hirafu and The Niseko Company’s properties due to unforeseen circumstances including weather. In the event that The Niseko Company can and do provide accommodation, regular rates will apply.

7. INSURANCE
The Niseko Company strongly advises all guests to comprehensively insure themselves against medical expenses, personal accident, loss of deposit and cancellation fees, and also their baggage against damage, loss, theft, etc.

8. SNOW CONDITIONS
Average snowfall statistics indicated within any advertising material of The Niseko Company and/or it’s agents are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of press. It should be understood that The Niseko Company cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for snow conditions. No accommodation booking can be cancelled, altered or amended on the basis of weather conditions.
